This discussion board forum will ask you to consider the history and origins of blackface and other cultural stereotypes of African Americans as discussed in Lesson 8 of Unit Two. Please discuss the following: Which of the stereotypes presented in Lesson 8 has, in your opinion, made the most enduring impressions on the reputation and image of African Americans in our own day and time?
